Mrs. Erin is the teacher at McKinley Cooperative Preschool. She studied Elementary Education at Eastern Michigan University and obtained a supplemental degree in Early Childhood Education from Schoolcraft College.
All three of her children attended McKinley Cooperative Preschool. During her time as a parent at McKinley, Mrs. Erin held multiple positions on the Board, including President and Membership. By the time all of her children were in Elementary school, Mrs. Erin decided to return to work. What better place to teach, than the preschool where she got to help her very own children learn and grow.
I love working with children and their families. Our school being a smaller preschool, I am able to get to know each of the children, their families, and friends during their time at McKinley. It makes it that much sweeter when it time for them to move on.
My hope is that during their time at McKinley, they always feel welcomed and part of this wonderful family, and also know that there is always an open door once they are done.
In her spare time, Mrs. Erin likes to volunteer at her children’s school, cheer for the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan, spend time with friends, and just be outdoors.
